How Serious Are You

When we decide that our goals are what we really want to do things change. There are people whom get their wishes just handed to them, but for the majority of us it takes hard work, dedication, and many times an investment. It is a common saying among business owners that "it takes money to make money!" This could not be any more true. Any goal you chase requires an investment (advertising, travel, office space, and materials). These are just common expenses, depending on what you want to do you may have more or less.

This is one of the bumps in the road. If you cannot or refuse to make these investments than you may want to stick to a regular job. I have already made small purchases here and there for this site and have yet to make a return. The thing that keeps me going is the fact that I believe in what I do. I believe there are people who benefit from my website and that is why I started it in the first place.

Think about why you are chasing that goal. Think about the sacrifices you have to make. Think of the investment and time it will take. If you have thought about all this and you believe in what you do, then stay on track. If you do not think what you want is worth it walk away now, because if you can not sell your vision to yourself than you will not be able to sell it to anyone else.
